Industrial Mechanic

While training as an industrial mechanic with GSC Schwörer, you’ll manufacture complex products and parts in the field of drive and gearing technology. Our trainees work with various different metals and plastics; they become familiar with basic manual skills and all the relevant techniques such as turning, gear cutting, milling, grinding and assembling in our in-house training workshop. An array of career opportunities will be open to you after you have completed your training, for example as a machine setter, shift supervisor or industrial foreman.
Requirements:
- Intermediate secondary school leaving certificate or a good junior secondary school leaving certificate
- Good knowledge of mathematics
- Interest in manual work
- Commitment, dependability and a capacity for teamwork

Industrial Business Management Assistant

While training with us, you’ll gain an insight into all our commercial departments – from Purchasing through Human Resources and Sales and Distribution to Financial Accounting. Our trainees place purchase orders, process work orders, support customers and carry out accounting transactions. After you have completed your training, you’ll have a chance to specialise in certain areas as you go on to take a more advanced qualification, for example as a business management specialist or business economist.

Applied study courses with GSC Schwörer
A dual study programme with GSC Schwörer gives you a perfect combination of theory and practice. Our three-year intensive study courses alternate regularly between theoretical and practical elements, usually in a three-month cycle. The sound theoretical know-how you’ll acquire at a cooperative state university will be deepened and put to practical use in exciting projects at GSC Schwörer.
